After 3 years, i made my steps again to taman negara, kuala tahan. but this time with a totally different bunch of ppl..and totally different type of fun too.nearly brought tears to me 0) when i reminisced the time i was there in 2002. this trip was also an equal excitement i shared with the rest. fuuhh....at last dapat gak masuk hutan after so long.

Isn’t this awesome??! After nearly 12 years passed by, we…the 6 Bidararians (class of 1993) are still adhering to each other with in fact a stronger bond! Dulu zaman kanak-kanak, skarang semua dah besar. We managed to gather nearly three quarter of the class and still in search for final quarter.Ade yang dah kawen,one of us is a dad-to-be soon and...berlambak yang dah bertunang (mostly guys la..kenapa ekkk?Bidaras' Boys laku macam Hot cakes!  ) tu belom lagi sebut the success these kids are achieving for now and I'm pretty sure there are more to come in giving the 6 Bidara's name a shine soon. Itu la product kebanggaan 6 Bidara.
NOT BAD LAA!!!!
We hope to find our beloved class teacher, Cikgu Bakar..(Cikgu Burn)...kalau jumpa...sure complete our class kan?

Akhirnya aku berjaya menjejak kaki kat Kem yang aku tak sepatutnye pegiiii... 
Right after work on Friday (17th Dec), aku pun buat keje gile sekali lagi pegi Ulu Tiram malam tu.Kul 11.30 Dobon mai macam last week gak...pastu kami pun bertolak dari Shah Alam ke Johor. Hahahhahah...memang letih banget..tapi nak kasik support kat member2 punya pasal..sanggup laa.. .Further more Doboon ada keje kat Savannah, tu pasal aku nyebok nak ikut. Dahla Ulu Tiram ni lagi jauh dari Kulai. so pukul 4 pagi baru kami sampai Savannah Hill. It's a gorgeous place..macam holiday resort jaa. Tapi takdak hutan macam Kaizen. Accommodations memang perfect 10 laa...bilik fasi siap ada bath tub yang sangat besar, aircond, kuih raya, TV, closet..fuiiissshhh...macam an English mansion with an antique touch gituuu...memang gempak...macam ni dok 20 hari pun takpa...but like i said before la...no hutan at all so not much of a thrill for an outdoor freak like me. In this matter, Kaizen is still better...
Masa sampai kat Savannah Hill, most of the fasi tak tido lagi. sibuk buat keje..none knew about my arrival on that night..Yatie siap ingat ada pegawai BTN nak datang lagi..hahhahaha..best tol tipu orang ni..ada gak fasi2 yang tengah tido...pastu terus tak dapat tido pasal ada 'bidadari cantekkkkk' kejutkan ...HAHAHHAHAHAH!!!Sorry Mad ngan Tam pasal aku kacau tido korang....masa aku sampai, ada pulak fasi2 tengah berkaraoke dangdutss kat karaoke room. enjoy betol derang dok kat Savannah Hill ni.
The next morning was a great one....weather was fine...tak panas sangat and tak la hujan...mendung ajaa...and i had the chance to visit kawasan nearby..there were kandang lembu, reban ayam yang sangat besar and a kebun bunga surrounding Savannah Hill. A scenic place i should say...so sempat la kami berlima (ayu, nani, ady, mad and myself) posing ngan lembu2 kat situ...pastu bila balik kem, kami pun dah berbau lembu..ahahahahhah
The events that i managed to catch during this camp were the 'Persembahan Kumpulan LDK' and 'Majlis penutup' je. It seems much easier to handle budak2 sekolah (form 2,3,4,5) rather than handling Diploma students from the previous camp. And nampaknye majlis kali ni lagi effective pasal peserta2 ngan fasi2 sekali berjurai air mata masa nak ucap farewell..hehehehhe. Fasi2 and jurulatih2 siap iring peserta ke bas lagi...that was a great moment. ter'touching' la jugak bile tengok keakraban derang tu...jeles pasal takde peserta yang akrab ngan aku...huhuhuhuhuhu! mana nak sempat kenal derang. sampai sana pun derang tido tak sedar. takpe la...dah ditakdirkan aku kene kerje. dahla datang Savannah pun kena keje, jadi camerawomen lak tuu....bosan tol!   , tapi kalu aku tak kumpul gambar2 korang....sape lagi yang nak buat, kan? hehehhehehheh.............
So aku hanya sempat spend time kat situ sampai petang Sabtu je..bas sampai dalam kul 4.30, and dalam kul 5 kami dah bertolak balik heading towards UPM. i would like to welcome Akmal, fasi baru, to the team....baru ko tau betapa sakit kepala dok berhari2 ngan derang2 ni..  .With this chance too..i would like to make an apology kalau dalam 2 kem ni aku ada buat silap kat sesape...(rasa macam banyak je..hahahahhah). It was fun to work with all of you....insyaAllah, kalau ada rezeki lagi kita boleh kerje sama2 lagi...kita bodek dobon suruh kasik satu lagi kem ye? hehehehheeh........

Last weekend, seramai 14 abang-abang and akak-akak dari UPM, UKM and UiTM bertolak dari medan letak kereta UPM naik bas yang dengarnya bas tak best langsung tiba ke kem kaizen pukul 7 ptg. Diikuti pulak ngan 2 lagi akak sampai pukul 3.30 pagi lepas tu. Jumlah fasi ada 12 orang, jurulatih ada 3 orang and sorang ketua fasi..Yatie jadi ketua fasi and dialah yang paling busy tak hengat before, during and after the camp.
hahahha...inila first time aku join kem btn and first time jugak jadi jurulatih. dah la jurulatih kena kasik ceramah patriotik, mana la penah buat keje gile macam ni. kononnya jurulatih ni kena jadi garang...kasik no mercy kat peserta..(poyo je bunyi). lawak le.
after 4 hari kat kem kaizen (hutan dia bes  t, food dia lagi best, bilik fasi tak best, toilet fasi lagi tak best, kedai runcit kaizen sekali je bukak,babi sondol selalu datang visit , tasik dia banyak selut, obstacles dia best2,anak tokeh dia bawak pajero ,nyamuk dia besar2), aku boleh buat banyak conclusion about everything that had happen. it was hell fun.  best eventhough ada gak fasi2 yang aku tak berapa kenal last2 jadi kawan carik gaduh..hahhahhaha...konon nak berdamai..dalam bas pun still boleh carik gaduh...ape la ko Mad?ade pulak yang first day dapat tau nak kena kasik ceramah, punya cuak and konon kata ada darah gemuruh la...(podacitss...) pastu terus jadi jurulatih yang Gila Mic! pantang nampak mic tu dok tenang kat atas stage, sure dia pegi attack.pastu ada gak yang fasi jatuh cinta kat anak buah...hahhahahha..aku rasa macam ramai je kan? ada pulak yang mengeluarkan ayat sokong "SAYA STUJU TU CAPT!", last2 kena gelak sampai sudah! ahaksss....and ada gak yang dari 'abang' jadi 'akak'..hehheheh..pastu ada gak akak fasi sorang ni yang menyerah diri kat pacat sampai 5 ekor and terus jadi scandal captain kat atas bot...hahhah..nak wat cemana? semua pompuan2 kat atas bot tu pun takdapek nak tolong ko cabut pacat tu...so captain je la yang jadi penyelamat....ada pulak akak fasi sorang ni..masa mula2 kami plan nak buat nightwalk..dia punya cuak, segala ayat and yassin dah prepare dalam bag dah...padahal baru assigned jaga starting point...nasib baik dobon selamatkan ko by cancelling that plan..ada sorang lagi fasi yang sebenaqnya sama umur ngan peserta..(probably younger...)tapi terpaksa la kencing peserta kan? kalu tak cemana derang nak respect ? and banyak lagi la kerenah fasi2 yang takleh nak lupa but susah nak recall..(cemana tu? sorry la, aku tengah sakit kepala skrang ni)...as for me...tak best sungguh jadi jurulatih ni. tak pasal2 kena cop 'akak garang' la..'berlagak la'...'ceramah boring la'..adoiiii....gue bukan penceramah dehhhhh..dah la takde group LDK sendiri. tapi yang bestnye pasal aku dapat tido tatkala orang lain terpaksa bekerja (itupun still tak penah bunyikan siren pagi pukul 5.30 tuhh...selalu terbabas tidoq). and kalau jalan ngan pak tam and akie tu kami terasa macam otai je! hahahhahhahha....yela...konon2 garang kan? and of course la...yang best lagi nye pasal aku dapat handle kebanyakan outdoor activities which i enjoyed big time!
right now at this moment, the rest of the team are in savannah's camp, ulu tiram johor doing the exact same activity in kem kaizen (but maybe cuma takde anak tokeh bawak pajero jee.... ). but i'm left at home sebab dah takleh nak apply cuti..nanti boss hangin! i wish i am there with them right now sebab aku tau sure best gile ngan ketua fasi, fasi2 and jurutlatih yang semua ada mental problem hahahhaha. hope they'll come back with interesting stories macam kat kaizen la. to yatie selaku ketua fasi, paktam selaku ketua jurulatih, akie selaku jurulatih gile mic...eh silap..selaku jurulatih gak and to lily, ayu, fadli, barox, su, nani, jina, ndot, ady, zakkee,iwar and mat...selaku fasi2, thank you so much for your support, usahasama(chewwahhhh..), help and most of all your presence at the camp.
aku enjoy giler camp ni! okayyyla..pegi dulu....daaaa!!!

A journey to Gunung Tahan
|

On the 7th-15th October 2002, High Risk Adventure Team created its own little history when 17 of us made it through an expedition in conquering Gunung Tahan. Gunung Tahan is the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia with the height of 2187 m and it took us 9 days to complete the expedition. Quite a long journey but that suits an amateurish hiker like me for my first expedition experience ever in my life. Going up the peak wasn't as challenging as going down. Breath taking sceneries along the way were extremely stunning and we managed to get a few shots but none of us had digital camera at that moment. so the pictures were kind of blurry and some of us even had problems with our camera due to the changes of temperature (I guess..hehehe).
We managed to spend a night on the Gunung Tahan peak even though it was raining cow and chicken when we arrived and it was freezing cold. Standing at the highest peak for that moment gave me an overwhelming bliss. it was beautiful and I thought that I was dreaming.
Though it was hell tiring, messy, challenging and requires so much of endurance..but we made it at last!
The journey was an inexplicable experience for me and the rest of the team. It was a journey to remember. Thanks to the team, Abg Sihir, Kenyap, Dobon, GM, Apit, Pakok, Gagak, Sawit, Benjoi, Chekki, Fahry, Kak Intan, Kak Kepeng, Sue, Tipah, Shila and Gobok, not forgetting, Abg Li and Abg Sabri, our guides, for making it all worth remembering.
