sawak dhi khaaaaaaaaaa........

jalan2 carik makan kat phuket pulak.....wasi, ida, norlin, nora and me.....a superb backpackers we were!besssssssssst sangaaat!
we started with taking the konsortium double decker bus from pudu to Hatyai. that was about 9 hours i think. bertolak pukul 10.30 malam and sampai hatyai at about 7 somthing.the journey was smooth because the bus was very comfortable and we could actually stretch our legs at the seat. but we slept throughout the journey anyways...so tak la teruk sangat. we were stuck at the imigration for quite a while sebab the queue was like ular di palu. hehehehhe...we reached hatyai and cought the first bus to phuket. ingatkan nak la carik bus best2 sikit sebab journey pon dengar cerite 7 jam. but we had problems communicating with the locals.macam ayam itik berborak jer kami. one thing's for sure..the BUSSES are called "BIG BAAAT..BIG BAAAAT" (it sounds like big butt)..and VANS are called "MINI BAAAT".
skali tu kami kene naik bas loncat daaaa....macam metrobus.imagine hopping into metrobus for a 7-hours journey. the bus stopped for 20 minutes in 3 towns, trang, krabi and phang nga(i think that's the name  ). i didnt move from my seat for the whole journey and we couldnt get a proper sleep sebab asyik terjaga tiap kali bas stop ambik orang kat bus stop. nak mimpi apa lagi pon dah taktau dah. abis modal. we reached hatyai at about 6 pm and went around searching for food.(we didnt eat proper meals since the night we left KL). aaaa jumpa kedai semua jual daging babi. so susah nak carik makan. we walked about to find a decent place to eat. and we had mcD in mind. at last jumpa..jauh dah berjalan. lepas dah kenyang..we took a tuktuk to patong beach where our guesthouse is. paid about 300 bhat (around rm 30). to our surprise, our guesthouse was..NOOT BAAAD! it's only rm 32 night/person and it's really not baaad! ada aircond,waterheater,TV with alot channels to flip thru, minifridge and it's totally clean! that night only wasi, norlin and myself were able to go out to patong most happening spot. jalan yang paling happening is bangla road where all the clubs and bars are situated. kiri kanan ada bars. we went club hopping and got stuck in a club...a poledance club..hahahahhaha.....thai girls in g-string dancing their way on the podium trying to catch a customer. they have numbers tagged on them..we assume that the customers will choose girls based on their numbers.it was funny laa...ada girls yang laku..ada yang kene shake their butts sampai abis lagu pon still takde orang request for them. ada yang pakai granma underwear. lepas tu we head back to our guesthouse and found ida sleeping in the room under the covers with the aircond of 30deg...hahahaha..she said she couldnt find the controller,and it was just behind the curtain.apeelaa ida! heheheh....
the next day was a hectic one. we took a tuktuk to phuket town and did some explorations, miscommunications,over budgetings and got lost a few times.we wanted to get to this hotmarket we saw the day before but non of us remembered the name of the road. but at last sampai jugak. the place is called Phuket Square in Robinson rd (as pronounced by the thai ppl...ROBINSAAAAN).shoes, earrings,handbags, clothes are quite cheap if u could bargain a good price with them. norlin is SO GOOD at that. as the moon greeted the land of phuket, we were already back at patong beach.sampai2 je terus siap2 nak pegi keluar balik..this time we decided to go to banana beach club. disco yang paling happening lah bak kata tukang jaga guesthouse tu. yeah..it was ok laaa...ramai mat salleh..either with their white partner or with a hideous looking GRO.macam mak orang pon ada gak jadi gro. the music was...also OKAY LAA...wasi and ida enjoyed themselves so much. i was too exhausted to enjoy myself and stepped out of the building an hour earlier. me and norlin went resting outside next to the beach. tunggu nora,ida and wasi. balik2 tu terus battery kong....
the next morning i couldnt get up. penaaaaaaaaaat! nora and norlin awal2 lagi dah bangun pegi pantai. after that, nora and norlin decided to go to phuket town again....for an "unfinished business"...shopping tak abis la tuuu...so wasi, ida and i lazed around in the room before we hit the waves of the andaman sea.patong beach is the most famous beach in phuket..that's what i got to know la. sun bathing jap....not long after that norlin and nora arrived lepas tu kami pegi buat thai massage...perghhhhhhh...relieving nye! paid 200 bhat(RM 20) for an hour of massage. macam nak patah tulang rasa..hahahha..
malam keluar lagi..this time we went to a cabaret show...bapok2 buat show. hehehe..they were very friendly towards us....but once again....susah nak cakap2 ngan derang...sebab derang cakap bahasa itik..mana nak sama ngan bahasa ayam?ida and wasi pegi banana lagi....because they had a crush with the dj.hahahhaa.....sampai angau2 si ida nih...
 ....between destinations in patong beach..we travelled by motorcycle. about 20 bhat (rm 2) per person for each ride. skali naik 3 orang daaa. best dapat naik motor ramai2...hahahha....kalau kat malaysia sure konfem kene saman. once i even saw 5 ppl on a bike..relax je....hahahahahha...
it's time to say farewell to phuket...we packed and left phuket on a tuktuk of 500 bhat to the airport. sebab tak cukup time, we packed our breakfast and ate in the tuktuk.we ate chicken sandwich bought from a muslim shop. takla sedap mana..tapi belasah jer...sebab dah lapar.
our flight was at 1.30 pm..(12.30 pm waktu malaysia). norlin misplaced her imigration departure card at first...cuak giler kami. nasib baik jumpa balik....
bye bye phuket!! khap khon kha........

my crazy gamble on CNY2006....

a journey to Gunung Gerah
on CNY 2006, i joined the OGKL (kelab orang gunung kuala lumpur) in their mission to conquer Mount Gerah(2103 m) and Mount Bieh(2028 m) within 6 days. there were 11 of us..and only 2 girls, kak zah and me..haha.
How did i get into this mess?at first HRAT had a plan to climb Yong Belar. ntah macam mana ntah tak jadi pulak...frust abis la ni...because CNY hols are long...aaaa..what am i to do? takkan nak makan tido duduk rumah je? so kak zah suggested us to join the ogkl for this expedition to mend our frustrated heart over Yong Belar  .. and since her angah is going as well. hmmm....at first i thought it was ridiculous...dahla tak kenal sape2...but then again...i do make crazy decisions as well at times. so i agreed to join them....

we had a little gathering for our buddy aleck for his 25th birthday - quarter century as he would like to refer it. his actual birthday falls on the 5th of january. tapi itu hari khamis..tak best la nak keluar malam..sebab esok keje. so saturday night it was...can't remember the last time i had so much fun like this. rasa macam ages je tak lepak ngan these lunatics. we all had a good dinner, a chocolate cake, few glasses of tehtarik and a needed laughter....all on a very windy night. a moment that i've always longed for. thanks to nora,norlin,sairi,chad (who left us drooling over a promised blueberry cheesecake  ....takpe chad...my bday is just around the corner..hahahah),pyan..(so glad he came!!), pyan's fren and the oldman himself...aleck for coming that night..

Food was great..the place wasn't that crowded....everybody had fun..i guess the event was simply perfect...except that i had to sit at the far end since i was still a cikenpox's virus carrier..hahahhaha!

i know nuts about futsal....the last time i played, 90% of my left toe nail were broken and left me with a very hideously uglee lookin toe for the next 9 months. hahahha...and my second attempt of futsal? no...no serious injury. just an aching body for the next 2 days. obviously i dont really do excercises...but had hell of a fun playing futsal with the webteam. scored a goal!!!  .....heheh...might be meerly a luck....well..at least...

damn...cant remember the freakin name for this event...but anyways...it was organised by the HRD of proton to acknowledge those ppl who has contributed their services and loyalties to proton for the past 10 years...so it's time to pay extra credits to them...was held in Marriot Putrajaya and i was in duty to usher the guests to their tables. a simple but tiring task i guess...besides getting a free baju for that night..well actually that was the main reason why i was willing to do this job....hahahha...guest artiste for that night was ziana zain along with 4 of her dancers....the food was extremely marvelllous....simply finger-toe-nail-palm-lickin gooood!  .with smoked salmon as an appetizer and wild mushroom soup...and orange sherbet...(ni rasa macam eskrem malaysia je....)and the main course was spring chicken...(chicken on a spring..toingg toingg toingg..heiheheheh)..and for dessert..it was some cheesy cake..not really sure what it was..but that didnt taste too good.....i have an expensive taste when it comes to cheese cakes... but overall the event was okay...but the food really lifted me up that night...nyammmmmm!

heheh...i'm not that rajin to upload pics ASAP after each event or outing..just cudnt find the time la kot...but anyways...recently...(cant remember when exactly..) ....mom, dad, misya and me made a visit to Bukit Tinggi. a few km after the Genting exit....quite a cool place to visit...very romantic...UNfortunately..i cant really immerse the 'romantic' feeling in my atmosphere since i went with my parents.... But instead of feeling a European atmosphere...tetiba rasa macam kat middle east pulak...sebab the 'pak arabs' and 'mak arabs' were swarming the place and basically, asians could be counted instead. .hahahhaha.....but had a great time especially at the Japanese village..or whatever they call it. but the room rates are like......'phewwww'...kumpul duit buat pegi diving lagi best.
