19th August 2006..once again i was a force of nature! hehehhe...  .great concert...great carnival..great artistes...but poor crowd. i guess it was not really well publicized. hmm..bagus gak tak ramai datang..i got to stand on the frontline at the concert. 
goshh marcell is soooo HOT in real life!
thanks a bunch to dear AlPian...for the ticket..because of him jugak i dapat goodie bag..hahahah...
i hope i could rock the triple mega malindo concert (or whatever they call it) this coming 2nd Sept as well...nak angau kat ahmad dhani pulak..hihihihi.

congratulations to my beloved friend Norlin on her akad nikah ceremony yesterday (5th August 2006). the love birds tied the knot in a simple yet joyful ceremony attended by family, relatives and close friends. both looked gorgeous on that night. congratulations again~ i pray the best in everything and may you both live happily ever after....amiiin!

hehe..for the first time..and probably the last, i went to the AF concert...concerto #7...kot. Special appreciation to my boss Cekgu Kevin Zahri...for the 4 precious 'KHAS' tickets. We had so much fun..to be honest. .
Punya la berkobar nak ambik gambar dengan Fazley..dia pulak nak motivate Loter. aiseh...lama pulak tu. hmmm....bury the hope je la Arry....

yet another mountain conquered..well, not really ANOTHER mountain.. this would be the second time i climbed mount nuang with the height of..erm..tak ingat la...tak tinggi sangat la. Infact, Nuang was the first mountain i climbed, back in 2002.To me, it's quite a hard climb. to me laaa...i bukan terrer sangat pon. so nuang pon leh kata susah.hehehe....
hahahha....but this time was certainly the worst experience ever for me. Things got a lil messed up along the way and my concern were mostly on my peeps who were first timers.What a bad experience to start with. kesian sangat.there were 11 of us, and 4 girls, norlin, jee, fiza and me. I was the only experienced climber among the girls. So i took the responsbility to make sure that they were okay. or at least still speakable..hihi. I do blame the organiser for being so disorganised about this trip. He had no urgencies at all and wasn't punctual with timing.
Tentatively, we were supposed to leave COE(our office in USJ) at 9 or latest 10.But when i arrived, at about 9 pm with norlin and adik, people were still packing their stuff..Worse, rations were not even sorted out yet. So we wasted some time on sorting out food stuff to members and repacking to fit in our ration. My 55 litre Deuter looked big but it wasn't that heavy actually.Takla seberat masa pegi Gunung Gerah haritu..erk, that was like carrying a whole cupboard on your back. So off we left COE at 10 pm.We stopped by Mamak Stadium for awhile.why?because the organiser said so (he had something to do)...and I ate 2 half boiled eggs and regretted that so much later on. At about 11 pm, we left Subang Jaya.
We convoyed 3 cars...2 wiras and 1 juara (i was in the juara..yayyy!).We reached Hulu Langat at about 12 something. That was waaaaay out of what we planned. Started walking at 1 am....I was already feeling very queasy with the half boiled eggs inside my stomach. and guess what? WE GOT LOST! we were lost for about an hour or so until we turned back . Seems like our 'experienced guide cum organiser' missed the right turning at one point.We continued on walking and reached our campsite at 5 am. Our campsite wasnt actually a proper campsite sebab tepi jalan and atas jalan tar.But it was still okay la...We were supposed to be camping at Lolo campsite which was 15 minutes away from our campsite..(memang la Lolo ni tempat nak buat campsite..bukan kat tepi jalan). .
We were dead tired and slept immediately after setting up our tents.3 tents were set up, but still most of the boys slept outside.(With no flysheet and no groundsheet..coolness  ).
We woke up at 9 the next morning. Just 3 hours of sleep. But luckily I still felt fresh and not as tired as it may sound. We ate breakfast and cleared up a lil.Time to move....dengan bag yang kecik, just nice for kudap-kudapan and a few litres of water, we sorta left the campsite unattended. ntah...mengikut kata guide, it'll be okay.we just brought along valuable things.
we reached camp pacat at about 1-2 pm, can't really remember. At first, we didn't plan to cook lunch there. but all of us were quite hungry, so kami masak la our so-called lunch...MAGGIE MEE. walaupon maggie is makanan ruji hikers, tapi tekejut jugak bile organiser kata our lunch would be that.because u see, our trip was not a long one. only 2 nights. and the ration we brought was more than enough. we could actually have a proper lunch with rice and bla bla if....and ONLY IF the timing was right.usually,if we plan to eat rice for lunch, it'll be cooked before hand...dekat last campsite la. and bawak je nasik yang dah masak tu. lauk boleh masak later masa dah sampai.but no words about this from him but mentioned many times about maggie for lunch..hmmm takpela...back to our resting spot in kem pacat....we cooked 6 packets of curry maggie...i shared my maggie with norlin and adik. so lepas lunch we all pon jalan la lagi...as told, we'll be passing puncak kasih and later baru sampai puncak nuang. the track was quite tough. lotsa lotsa climbing to do. sampai kat bawah Puncak Kasih...ramli was urging us to have a peek at it. "alaa..korang..2 minit je from here to puncak kasih..naik kejap...rugi wooooo tak naik"..oookkaaay laaaa....kami pon climbed a lil and reached Puncak Kasih...takla jauh sangat pon...hahhaa..but masa tu kemalasan melanda...2 minit pon macam tak kuasa. but we did anyways!
After a few shots at Puncak Kasih...we continued walking or more of climbing to Nuang Peak. We were quite scattered. Norlin, Ramli, Adik,Abe, Baseri and me were behind..and the rest weren't far ahead.Tiba2 tengah jalan, nampak group depan berhenti...so i thought kay la.....maybe orang depan penat...sampai2 je.....  .......guide@organiser decided to turn back!! ESTA LOCA???...dah dekat gile ni nak patah balik? reason? we were running out of time and since 3 of us didn't bring along our torchlights..(including me lahh...hehehe..tertinggal kat campsite)...so he didn't wanna take the risk to walk at night...that's the most unreasonable reason for an experienced person like him..3 out of 11 didn't bring the torch..but the rest did! and we were like...half an hour from the peak...we wasted about 15 minutes arguing about this...majority of us wanted to go on...but he was still quite stubborn with his decision. and managed to influence the 2 girls. but we assured them that everything's gonna be alright insyaAllah.Nasib baik kami ni lagi degil.So our guide terpaksa la ikot kami.... ....
Memang dah dekat pon...we reached the peak of Nuang at about 6 pm...and snapped lotsa lotsa pictures, and headed down again. It was all worth the fight because i could see the satisfied look over each faces and that's the purpose of this whole thing. but we were only halfway through the trip...because the journey down would be another obstacle. but yeah..come what may. i was damn tired as well. imagine..we only had maggie mee for lunch.and some junk food. this is so not enough to regenerate energy. the journey down was a challenge. gradually, our torchlight went off one after another. only left mine(luckily Ramli brought 2,and i brought some AAA Batts), Baseri's and Fiza's.Ramli and Adik were using lighters for some sourcelight sampai panas2 tangan. Fiza strained her leg after so many slips.It was raining quite heavily.and the track was kinda slippery.Adik injured his right knee and screamed every 5 minutes.(i call it the bapok scream..hahaha).Norlin was extremely exhausted as well.At one point, we requested for a 10 minutes break..to sleep!
...hahaha..ngantok woooo....10 minit tido tu pon dah boleh mimpi...mimpi katil kat rumah..hahahaha...duduk la menyangkung kat tepi track tu tengah2 malam and rested our heads on our knees.That was damn funny la...(oh, group depan Guide,Ji, Rosdi and Nazir were no where to be seen)...lepas tu sambung jalan. The surface of my feet were soar macam kene toreh2 pisau sebab dah kene soaked ngan air masa cross sungai and masa hujan. it was nearly 16 hours, they were still wrapped up in my shoes. Every step hurts like hell.Things got harder with injuries each of us had and the darkness we were facing..hahahhaha...at one moment, 5 person were sharing 1 headtorch i was wearing. So i had to be at the back jadi sweeper kejap la. pening kepala i nak kene suluh 4 person at once.nasib baik takde extra person ikut skali kat belakang i..hihihi....skali tu we stopped for a moment and i tengah punggah my bagpack...i found batteries!!!! yippieee...so i gave those to Ramli and at least ada la jugak sumber cahaya extra.after about 15 minutes of walk, we encountered a campsite. To my surprise, they welcomed us so warmly and boiled some hot coffee..(tapi terxtra sugar  ) and treated norlin with cramp saltwater.Gotta know that they were from MMU and UPM....thanks alot guys...you guys were really kind to help us that night. They told us that the other group were in a worse condition...2 person had a crampped leg and non of them had a functional torchlight! semua battery dah kong.derang jalan meraba dalam gelap...until they found the MMU+UPM campsite. But kenapalaaa mereka tak tunggu kami? they proceeded still. ...
After about 15 minutes of rest at their campsite...we decided to go on.Everybody looked better lepas pekena kopi panas. jalan2 dah sampai kat LOLO dah and banyak campsite dah kat situ..skali tu we were unsure of the route. kanan ke straight? so Ramli and i patah balik to another campsite nearby and asked the guys there to reconfirm. lepas dah reconfirm...we went on walking...sampai kat rumah orang asli...we found the rest of the team sleeping at the dam. they said they had been sleeping for 2 hours..hahaha..we were that far behind? After about 20 minutes of walk, we reached our campsite....I was exhaling with relief...Alhamdulillah everything was okay..eventhough there were too many obstacles...tapi nuthing really bad happened so far. we reached the campsite at about 3.tak pernah in my history of Mount Climbing kene buat OT sampai lewat camni. The next morning after breakfast/lunch...we continued walking down to the carpark.That was about 2 hours of walk. The track was okay la, jalan balak..cume banyak menurun je...Lepas tu kami the juara gang singgah kedai makan kerang rebus dengan cikenwing dekat Hulu Langat...perghhhhhhhhhh...PROPER FOOD! Pukul 8 lebih kami sampai COE balik...
