had my best birthday celebration ever. no birthday cake..no candle blowings....no balloons..no presents...
.......just a plain slightly golden tan on my skin, hundreds of memorable pictures, neverending laughters, the mesmerizing scent of the ocean and the showering incoming wishes from my beloved friends and family back in Malaysia...(sorry lah kawan2...sekali sms rm2 wooo..ehhehehe). that's just the perfect birthday celebration i ought to deserve. nothing more.

HO HO HO at benum's peak

25th December 2006...when most people were either still asleep, unwrapping gifts, preparing food, dressing up for a date, watching movie, searching for carparks in the jam packed mall basement, or even weeping while watching sad Christmas tv show at home.....me on the other hand....was with the rest of smelly 32 OGKL-ians, grinning in front of flashing cameras at the peak of Mount Benum. This wasn't my original plan of how i wanted to spend the holidays given. But 3 days before the OGKL members planned to head to Raub, i told Mom and Dad my sudden decision...(not a question as a permission...but a statement instead  ). with an expression of 'malas nak layan budak ni'..they nod in a silent disagreement. YAYYY!
i really have no idea why i had the courage to still go for mount climbing. i thought the last experience from nuang was supposed to put a stop to all this. but with people like kak zah and paei persuading me to join this expedition nearly everyday, i totally lost it. hehehe...but it was worth being a stubborn daughter. coz the expedition was...FUIYOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Jumaat, 22 Dis 06
Kami bertolak dr KL jam 10++mlm .Terima kasih pada yang mengantar & melambai... biasa la bila cuti 3 hari pasti jalan nak keluar dari KL punyalah sesak. Apapun kami selamat sampai ke Kg. Sg. Klau, Raub jam 1++pagi. ...dari sini terus naik 5 biji 4WD hardcore ke Lata Berembun. Perjalanan selama sejam yang menyiksakan. Kami umpama kena ayak kaw2 atas 4WD. Nasib baik 4WD kami naiki lepas juga melalui trek yang licin & lunyai tu. Terus kami bermalam d Lata Berembun.
Arry: we reached latar berembun…from where we were dropped off, it was a 5 minutes walk to the campsite. It was dark…total darkness…and all I could hear was the sound of a huge waterfall and drizzles that landed on our skin. After dah kemas2 skit..and off we were in our tents for a short nap before we begin our journey. Mula2 kami eksen..nak tido tak payah guna sleeping bag. Carry mat pon tak kluar kan..skali tu….tak sampai half hour, menggeletar lutut2 semua. Half asleeply, Kak zah and I crawled out of our tent to our bags and geledah habis carik sleeping bag. Baru la buleh tido dengan best nye.
Sabtu, 23 Dis 06
Bangun sarapan, stretching sikit, kendian pukul 9++ terus mula trekking. Kebetulan masa ni ada lagi satu geng dari KL pun masuk dlm 20 org. Campur2 dr GO. Diketuai Budin & Reen. Mereka terpaksa menapak dari jambatan bawah sebab Hilux mereka tersangkut dekat tempat yang licin tu. Kesian woo, nasib baik semuanya bersemangat waja..terus jugak menapak ke Lata Berembun...
Masa mula-mula trekking dah pacak tak hingat. Dalam linkungan 1 jam berjalan kami sudah lost trek. Tuju punya tuju terus sampai air terjun. Terpaksa backtrack semula. Masa nak patah balik ada yang jatuh terhantuk batu, tangan terhentak batu lah, pipi tergesel batu pun ada ...almaklumlah jalan merentasi sg berbatu.. 
Arry: stretching stretching tarik urat2 semua kasik longgar2 lutut2. okay..JALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN…yah yah yah. At first we had to hike along a lereng which I thought was pretty scary. Like sekali slipped…whheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…see you at lata berembun again.
Sampai di sungai terakhir dalam pukul 1++tgh. Masa ni geng lagi satu tu dah di depan dah coz sebab mereka memang rancang naik ikut trek baru. Ogkl rancang nak naik trek lama. Sepatutnya trek tu berpecah di sini tapi mungkin dah jarang org pakai, guide kitaorg tak jumpa trek tu. Bila jadi macam tu saya putuskan untuk ikut trek baru. Bukan apa, bila pikir2 balik tak perlu pikirkan sangat pasal trek yang mana, yang penting sampai puncak...secara tak langsung saya pulak yg jd guide secara tak rasmi..hahaha..
Arry:huwaaaa berapa banyak kali kene cross sungai yang tak patot dicross..kak zah sampai terkepak2 jatuh sampai bengkak2 siku.i dun like river crossing…..
Buat pengetahuan, ini kali ke-3 saya naik dari trek Kem Bulat(2001 & 2002) cuma bila tahu ada kumpulan lain(Reen) naik juga tarikh yang sama kami cuba ubah ikut trek lama sebab campsite kat atas tu sempit - Kem Bulat (sempena nama Bulat masa recce thn 2001 dulu..) masa ni kelajuan xkresma junior - briee, pejai, amad, najib memang tak dapat dibendung lg... (takpe ada 2hari lg.mcm2 bole jd..hangpa tunggu!!hehehe) sampai di last water point(LWP) pukul 7++mlm. Sebelum LWP ni kami ada jumpa 2 orang dari group Reen dah tersadai tepi trek..husband&wife (Abg Safwan & Kak Ima)..kami kata "pelan2 kayuh bang..layannnn"..hahaha
Di LWP budak-budak yang sampai awal sudah terus shoot ke Kem Bulat. Dalam 4 org termasuk xkresma junior...hampeh betoi...tak bertindak mengikut arahan langsung..hehehe apapun sejarah berlaku di LWP, bila kami masak centralized untuk 30 orang punya makan..menu: nasi+ayam goreng bawang+sayur lemak kobis+kopi O=energy!! lepas makan terus cergas trek ke Kem Bulat..lawan tetap lawan..mana boleh suka-suka hati nak tidur atas trek geng..rosak la reputasi macam ni..hahaha
Arry:sorry geng…time ni wa tengah bungkus diri dalam flysheet sambil dok celah pokok between uncle appa and eddie muda jer..tak larat nak bangun sejuk banget!!!!! Tak dapat nak menolong masak2. Sib baik ramli offer share makanan dalam mestin dia..kalau tak nak makan pon wa malas…
Pukul 10malam kami naik sampai saja di permatang jumpa 2 abang guide yang dah tersadai buka fly tepi trek...jadi lagi sekali sejarah berlaku bila guide terpaksa ditinggalkan tidur tepi trek..hahaha...maaf abg guide.. kami tiada pilihan....peserta 31 orang terus trekking & sampai Kem Bulat 2pagi..layannnn...tebas lebih kurang, terus port di situ..syukur muat juga untuk semua orang.. nasib baik team lagi satu sahabat2 juga..jadi, kongsilha apa yg patut..)
Arry:kami sempat tido for 2 hours kat lereng pematang. Muat2 jer straighten the legs. Tapi sejuk tak hengaaaaaaaaaat! Abang deeno lalu jer dia terus kejut semua orang. Rupa2nya it was only 15 minutes walk to the Kem Botak. And after preparing our tempat tido….we slept. No no..i slept alone in one corner because kak zah was actually replacing us sleeping kat lereng pematang tu. Huhuh..nasib baik tak penakot sangat.
Ahad, 24 Dis 06
Kami terjaga pukul 7++pagi...almaklumlah malam dah OT baik punya...pagi susah nak bagun... Lepas sarapan, jam 10pagi kami mula trekking freehand ke puncak. ...trekking yang biasanya 2jam jadi 3.5jam paling cepat ..mungkin sebab tenaga banyk habis hari sebelumnya.. sampai puncak pukul 1.30 tgh..syukur sampai ke puncak benum..
Kami tunggulah disana sampai semua geng lain sampai...layan view yang cun dari helipad tepi puncak tu..lepas layan bergambar dan sebagainya..masa ni ada lagi satu group Cina dari KL naik dari trek lama yg telah dibarukan..masuk dari simpang sebelum Lata Berembun. Dalam 27 org..semuanya peramah laa..best layann..sekitar jam 4ptg kami mula turun semula ke Kem Bulat..
Saya & Hafiz baby paling last smpai kul 8mlm..dia kejar saya lari,dia kejar saya lari..tau2 dah smpai campsite..kan baby kan...hehehe menu mlm tu: nasi grg kg+daging masak kicap+papedom+teh O= kenyang&mengantuk...zzzzzz...mimpi balik Shah Alam..hehehe
Arry:dengan bangganya nak announce….arry telah memasak nasik goreng ikan masin untuk seramai 31 orang yeee..hehehhe..dibantu oleh abang yassir dan kak zah..hehehhe

lps sarapan,dlm kul 8++ turun kem LWP..air dah habis laa...yg mana jln dulu semua shoot tak hingat..kalo naik 6-7jam, turun dlm 2++jam jer...bukan smpai ke LWP jer, tp terus ke sg last tu...fuh power giler..hehehe..nmpaknya xkresma junior mmg tak mkn saman..sbg denda yg mana laju2 tu telah berjaya diperlahankn secara paksa...caranya: kena sweep peserta paling slow sekali...tak boleh tidak..hahaha..apapun tq coz semuanya patuh dgn arahan..lps lunch mihun sup terus turun ke Lata Berembun..dlm kul 5pm semua smpai termasuk mmber2 dr team lagi satu...lps terjun tiruk puas2, settle packing semua, buat suaikenal sikit then terus naik 4wd keluar ke sg Klau..smpai dlm kul 7.30pm bas blm smpai..kul 9.15pm bas smpai terus menuju ke pekan raub, mkn2 terus balik KL...12++am smpai KL & terus ke destinasi masing2...

trip yg memang happening, penuh adventure, penuh kasih sayang, penuh semangat juang, penuh pengertian...tahniah buat semua!!!!

1. kengkawan warga GO lead by reen & budin, gua caya sama lu org semua...mcm ni punya trip kalo bertembung pun mmg syok..mcm satu family..tahniah kerana semua peserta yg kita bwk menjunjung penuh etika rekreasi & pergunungan...kwn2 takmau lawan...InsyaAllah ada peluang kita jumpa di lain trip k...
2. semua peserta Benum jgn lupa, kita semua jumpa hari Jumaat minggu pertama tahun depan di rest.YZ dpn CM...teh tarik utk perjumpaan pertama ni kelab akan sponsor..AZAMMM!!!

3. tinggalkan guide tido kat trek..sblm ni mana penah woi!!
4. kem bulat sebenarnya bole di huni lebih dr 50org..hahaha
5. peserta smpai puncak tp guide tak sampai..
6. ogkl membawa 18org 'bukan ahli' ke trip ni - lebih dr separuh peserta ahli
7. gng benum merupakan gng pertama bagi 4-5 org peserta xpdc
8. bilangan Ajk ogkl tersikit yg mengikuti xpdc - hanya tiga org ajk utk peserta seramai 28org...; deeno, yassir,arey
9. puncak benum dinaiki oleh seramai 80org dlm 1hari dlm 3kumpulan berlainan
this time, i'd give 8.5/10 to the kind of challenges dat we had to go through. LENGKAP satu package. Dengan sesat for hours, crossed a few unnecessary rivers, OT (jalan malam2) sampai pukul 1 pagi, masak dinner tengah track, tido tengah track for nearly 2 hours...(i didnt believe this either but all i know it, was blardy cold), sleeping alone in one corner at the campsite..(no choice la..) and even hiked for nearly 4 hours WITHOUT any water supply. Air tak cukup. I was so thirsty at one point and practically ran to chase angah. Pau jer la angah punya air. Thanks to OGKL, and the rest of the team members…pasni leh jadik guide benum la ye?

i was a popeye the sailor man last weekend!!! Menyebok kat Camp Anak OP on the 13th Dec for 4 nights with nearly 50 anak2 OP and Boy RMC. The sailing trip with Fajar Samudera from Port Klang - Langkawi - Lumut was unbelievable! I had a real good time through out the 5 days i spent with Auntie Nik, d'Boy and the rest of the crew...got the VVIP treatment from everyone else yuuuu..best giler! everything went smoothly as planned.
except for one thing...i lost a belly stud. a turqoise flower belly stud. tercicir kat mana ntah...well, too bad then. i guess the belly stud is meant to go away, along with its giver. BUT it's okaaaayyyy....i'll replace it with a newer nicer ones... ...plus there are better quality studs that won't get lost so easily.

mom had her best birthday celebration yesterday when all her broods were messing up her kitchen and made her the most memorable dinner ever. mom and dad had to take care of 3 brats while we played chefs last night. hehehe...jadi sempit dapur mom semalam.hehehhe..hope you're happy mom. we need u in this planet mom..very much. semoga mom panjang umur dan murah rezeki selalu...

when i planned for this tioman trip with wasi, all i wanted was a good vacation to heal my messed up mind from work and personal problems. not that it's a critical healing process though....but i just needed a break to ease my mind....(hahaha....). and all i wanted was a leisure dive, another page written in my 'been kept for too long' dive logbook at least. but i didnt expect this trip to turn out the way it did!
we enjoyed ourselves big time, oh yes we surely did. apart from the wretched scenario that we had to witness, we loved every moment we spent when we were in tioman. sampai satu part ni kena kejar anjing2 excited pon ada. hahahha. i'm sure wasi, miah and eni enjoyed themselves too. hot siot 3 orang awek2 tu. banyak guys mintak contact number. .
why did i mention wretched scenario? one of the divers that was on the boat with us passed away infront of our very own eyes. he died while diving or maybe on the boat while some guys gave him CPR (ooooh..mat salleh yang kasik CPR tu ensem! ) and things were pretty unclear so i do not want to make my own conclusions on what had happened. everybody was aghast and speechless to witness this. but then again....ajal di tangan Tuhan.
this may not mean i'm backing off from scuba diving, though i can say i'm a lil traumatized at this moment, but i guess all we need to do is pray hard kepada Yang Maha Besar for our safety in everything. and be more careful i guess 
and again...it's monday..back to reality. demmm.
p/s: i'll upload underwater pics soon..it's 3 am now..i need to work tommorow.

my baby sister is growing up....

I feel so proud and excited over Misya's graduation+final year concert today. My darling little rascal is already reaching the end of her playschool year! i just didn’t realize how quickly time passed us by. she's no more the lil baby yang terkedek2 dengan pampers...no more the lil baby i used to carry in my arms here and there (okay..sometimes i still do.. ), and no more the lil baby who calls me ‘ka-yeeee’ (it was meant to be Kak Arry). She’s now the lil girl who wears frilly dresses with black shiny babydoll shoes, adores pink colour and requests for either Barbie Doll or Polly Pocket on her visits to Toys ‘R’ Us. She giggles about her handsome classmate name Afif too (boleh tahan gak adik aku punya choice wooooo). No matter how fast she grows, how stubborn she is, how tall she’s gonna get, how beautiful and gorgeous she’ll eventually be, Ammy Syahana Sapie will always be my lil baby sister…and the diamond of our family.
